Update: Something I have been thinking about, lately. Considering that Obama drew his maximum support from more affluent, highly educated Whites while low income, working class Whites broke for Clinton, will the liberals say that poor tend to be more racist than the rich?
Now that Clinton is history, I am pulling my considerable weight (:( ) for John McCain. Forget No Country for Old men, the new slogan shall be America for the old man…
On a more serious note, GOP is exploiting differences among the Democrats. Apparently, some Clinton supporters are angry enough to launch a website supporting McCain for president. I suspect they might run out of steam by the time elections come around…but one never knows.
I expect Obama to win the election fairly comfortably. But boy, if he doesn’t, then it would take a village country to make the Clintons shut up.

@ 63-year-old rancher and a Clinton supporter….”We have doctors, lawyers….the blue bloods….rednecks like me….Raspberry Brown hands …translucent Pears waists…
QUITE COLOR-DIVERSIFIED support, for the Old man
Are you sore with Messiah because he refused to smooch you ?
confused,
I aint following this stuff much, but as far as I have read, obama and clinton were like devil and the deep sea..
more importantly, I am keen on knowing what will be the impact on India if obama becomes President or if Mccain does ??
“Considering that Obama drew his maximum support from more affluent, highly educated Whites while low income, working class Whites broke for Clinton, will the liberals say that poor tend to be more racist than the rich? ” – Similarly, is it fair to that the rich tend to be more sexist than the poor?
Anyways, agree with you on the support McCain part. I have always felt that both Obama and Clinton are crooks, I thought one sane guy in the democratic party is Edwards!!!
Isn’t it surprising that in the US, they openly make a big deal about John McCain’s age? That country has promised not to discriminate any person in any field on the basis of age, race, gender, religion. etc.
Having said that, John McCain would have probably been just the right age for Indian politics!
“Yes, the Old Man (not armed with deep baritone voice that sways in with lofty rhetoric ) Can”
Just bring in a YOUTHFUL, VIVACIOUS AND AGILE vice president, who will act like an ANTI-AGEING CREAM
Jyo,
heh.
Gaurav,
He is your master…
Shadows,
Well, that’’s hard to say considering all the rhetoric. But I would say a Republican president is more likely to be friendly to India. At least that has been the history lately.
Mayuresh,
Perhaps.
Btw, I am not supporting anyone right now…
And dude, Edwards is nuts! You should read about his politics…
Jyo,
Yes. Anti-aging cream for McCain

Confused,
in India, going by the quota events, the poor tend to be more casteist than the rich…. will the liberals say that?
Bob Dylan – The Times They Are A-Changing
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-D9S48A81os
Legendary singer Bob Dylan endorsed Barack Obama, claiming that the Illinois senator is “redefining the nature of politics from the ground up”.
he said: “Well, you know right now America is in a state of upheaval. Poverty is demoralizing. You can’t expect people to have the virtue of purity when they are poor.”
“But we’ve got this guy out there now who is redefining the nature of politics from the ground up…Barack Obama…” ….
There was a time when I had some respect for McCain as he made some efforts to clean up politics by supporting Campaign Finance Reform, but I just feel sorry for him now.
