I am not sure the exact roots of this festival or for how long it’s been celebrated, however it’s a good argument and in today’s materialistic world, almost all holidays are tied up to this excuse![link]

The world ceases to be materialistic …..
a) when you slipped in the bathtub and writhin over
a bruised rib
b) when are you reaching a stunning climax of life, i.e. death
c) when someone who you truly loved/love disappears all of a sudden….without telling you
d) when you fix a simple yet delicious dinner for self – Basmati rice, Daal
….there are quite a few
