For the record, I absolutely hate that giggly, stupid and juvenile actress. And I don’t like Madhuri Dixit too.
In our magnificent opinion, the only heroines who should be permitted to act are Nandita Das, Konkana Sen Sharma, Sushmita Sen and Preity Zinta.
That’s it. Ban the rest of them.

Oye, Sri Devi, is classic Indian beauty, an ASSERTIVE EMBODIMENT OF INDIAN FEMININITY IN ABUNDANCE. Blatant yet subtle sex appeal, Robust feminine energy, Grounded woman…the juvenile spirit, the giggle-y nature, unnecessarily, came to her due to a few stupid jumpn characters she played….come on, that age of cinema was proletarian, a fantasy, a sheer entertainment, an escapadade…..earthy Indian-ness
Madhuri, has always been a wannabe..certain degree of artificiality, though she is a great performer.
I agree with u Ms Nandita Das, Ms Konkana Sen Sharma.
Sush is an intelligent woman, ripples with spotaneity, the contemporary Diva (Rekha being the Queen of such class)….

Okay! If you say so! I think during the time Sri Devi, Bollywood was so pathetic that she came across looking even worse. Not that Bollywood is much better these days but at least they have learned how to dress their actors.

I like Priety the actress. I like Priety the woman–I have this thing for dimples. And I like Priety the person–in Bharat Shah case, she was the only Bollywood actress to stand by her testimony while all the ”macho” actors chickened out. I admire that courage. As far as IPL is concerned, the whole concept sucks–why blame her only.
Nandita Das and Konkana Sen Sharma are cerebral; I applaud anyone who acts in Bollywood cinema and does not come aross looking completely stupid. That takes some doing.
Yes, i surely did not have the good fortune of watching the heroines you mention. But I like Simran; she is hot. I obviously cannot comment on her acting.

just to add a bit to what u said about Nandita Das and Konkana Sen Sharma …both these dames are VERY EARTHY in their tendency, VERY VERY RELATABLE and excellent actresses. They bring a lot more to the character. The true progressive Indian-Ness can be felt in both. Interestingly, they are not loud like other babes in Bollywood.
n I tend to agree with Prasanna. Priety, the dimples thingie, could be pretty a strong woman, strictly adhering to her stance (The Red n White Bravery n courage awards are being endorsed by her..Red n White is a Cig brand), she is too commercialised property, a RED-CARPET WANNABE…
