I sincerely believe that the Nehru-Gandhi family has brought ruination to this country. Their Fabian socialism, dictatorial tendencies, and overwhelming love for their family has played a significant role in keeping India a third world country. Now after Nehru, Indira and Rajiv, we are blessed with the renouncer-in-chief, the supreme commander of the Indian National Congress and the super Prime Minister.
Mrs Gandhi’s current obsession is to ensure that the kingdom passes on to her children. And it is here the great Indian tradition of favoring the son comes to the fore. By all accounts, Priyanka Gandhi is smarter, more intelligent and ambitious of the two. But the son must be favored even when he is thoroughly incompetent, and hence Rahul Gandhi is being promoted to take over India and has even been anointed as her future by the family’s chief yes-man.
Rahul Gandhi is India’s biggest hope. I believe that this imbecile will completely ruin Congress and rescue India from the continuing embrace of the Nehru-Gandhis.
So two cheers for patriarchy!

I was thinking, many kings and warriors relentlessly continued their conquests into our country – Mohammad Bin Qasim, Mahmud of Ghazni (this man 17 times), Mohammad Ghori (this man 7 times), Qutab-ud-din Aibek started the Slave dynasty, Razia Begum came to power and got killed, The Khiljis came, n then mad Tughlaqs n the Lodhis..n then our favourites Mughals………………….many others only to pave a way fr Spices trails …then India Freedom movement…
we read them, digested them, got good marks…this generation “nunha munna raahi..little kids” should read about “Internal invasions” by Indian politicians..how they are raping or exploiting common people, strugglers in India? these species should be part of the legacy……

But just to answer Biju’s question: It was based on media reports and what I have seen her. Admittedly not a great deal to go on but then Rahul has already proved his err worth.
